Hi, my name is Aura Dawn. Am a 3D artist as well am versed in Fashion, glamor and illustrative Photography. My critiques are not meant to be "wow a great photo, but constructive criticism. If you do not like the critique that am writing you do not have to accept it.
Fist of all, what is a fashion shoot. it is where the product is the center of attention and all attention must be drawn to it. While your photograph is beautiful, it fails to draw complete attention to the article of clothing but the whole scene. By having such a busy scene the eye cannot focus on the dress which it is suppose to. In order to do that the aperture of the lens should have been open to blur and mute the background, drawing the eyes forward.
While this lighting works for a dramatic shot, it fails for a fashion shoot. It is to harsh. Fill lights, or bounced lighting would have lit the dark shadows on her arms and face, giving it a much more appeal. An outdoor fashion shoot is tricky and requires a lot of set up with reflectors and lights. All of those outdoor natural shots are anything but natural.
Hope this is the type of critique you were looking for.
Te superas en serio, iba a decir que son los jardines de Aranjuez, pero ya leí que es el Retiro. No me canso de maravillarme con la fotografía, un enorme abrazo y a favoritos
Amazing photograph! I love the location! The frame within a frame that the ivy creates is working great. Wonderful dress and stunning model/pose. My only critique of this is I wish that you drew out a little more green in the photograph in the ivy and shrubs for it would have complimented all the reds beautifully.
